Skiing at La Mongee, Bareges and Tourmelet

La Mongee (1800-2000m) is the nearest ski area from Bagnères and is 25 minutes from Les Cerisiers.  It is the largest linked skiing area in the Pyrenees, joining the Tourmelet and Bareges, with 69 pistes and 100km of slopes.  The skiing is varied with plenty of green and blue runs for beginners and black runs and off piste skiing for the experienced skier.

There is a ski bus which leaves at regular intervals from outside the tourist office in Bagnères if you don't want to drive and on your return, there is Aquensis, the fabulous spa to ease all aches and pains after a long day on the slopes.

If you want to go further afield and ski elsewhere, you can try: Cauterets, St Lary, Luz-St-Saveur and Peyragudes.
