When leaving the Airport, there is a roundabout. Take the exit signposted Toulouse which leads directly onto a major dual carriageway. Follow the signs and exits to ‘Tarbes/Lourdes’. These are well posted except for one turning where you follow ‘Toutes Directions’. You will end up on the Peripherique (Ring Road) and proceed on this until you see the exit to the A64 - again signposted to ‘Tarbes/Lourdes’.
Stay on the A64 until Exit 14 signposted Tournay and Bagneres-de –Bigorre. This is about 135 kms from the start of the A64. There is a toll barrier near Toulouse and a further toll section about half way along the Autoroute.
At the roundabout after Exit 14, take the D20 road to Bagneres-de-Bigorre going up a steep hill. Stay on this road for about 15 kms until you come down a steep hill into the town of Bagneres-de Bigorre. Continue into the town until you reach a set of traffic lights. Turn left at these lights to Gerde.
Continue on this road for about 1.5 km and follow the contour of the road with the hill on your left hand side. Just outside the village of Gerde you will come to cemetery on your left. Immediately after this, turn left up a steep hill – signposted ‘Lotissement de Castet’. Follow the road round at the top of the hill until it levels out. Number 4 is on the right hand side and has light green railings.
