From Pau Airport take the Autoroute (A64) to Tarbes and leave at Exit 12 signposted to Bagneres de Bigorre. Follow the Tarbes ring road. At one of the roundabouts take a right turn to Bagneres on the D935. Follow this for about 20 kms until you enter Bagneres.
At a roundabout on the outskirts of Bagneres, follow the signs to Campan, La Mongie and Bagneres (centre).
In Bagneres, again follow signs to La Mongie and Campan which are due south (still the D935). On the outskirts of Bagneres you will see the River Adour on your left . Follow this road (about 1 km) until you see a Builders Merchants called Point P on your right. Immediately after Point P, there is left turn onto a bridge over the river – signposted Gerde.
Follow this road, going straight over a cross roads, until you enter the village (approx 0.5 km). and before you get to the centre of the village, take the first turn sharp left. You will immediately pass a farm and a camp site and take the first right (by a cemetery) up a steep hill. This is signposted Lotissement De Castet.
Go up the hill and follow the road round to the right (Rue du Pic du Midi) and where the road levels out you will find our house on the right side. It is No 4 Rue du Pic du Midi and has pale green railings.
